Tiger Woods' Yacht

Tiger has another residence- his 155 foot yacht named Privacy. At 6500 square feet- his yacht is a little over twice the size of my home.

What do you think of the light coming from under the bed? The white decor is a symbol of luxury. It's like, anyone that can afford to keep it clean- must have some cash. I like the orchids.

And- speaking of white- there is plenty more. As a mother of four... I just can't suggest white carpet to anyone. It is a beautiful contrast with the rich wood walls- and I really like the barstools...
What do you think? Anything from Tiger's yacht that you would want to replicate in your own home?

Tiger Woods' Dubai

Tiger Woods, in addition to his residences here in the states, also is in the process of building a resort in Dubai. It has a grand hotel (above)- as well as villas and palaces that are for sale- for those of you who would like a second home on an amazing golf course.
This is a shot of the spa in the hotel.

Here is Tiger's personal residence.

This is the only interior picture that I could find of his personal residence.
Pretty lush, huh?
I would have to say that it's a little too much stone, and a few too many columns for me.
What do you think?

Tiger Woods' Home in the Hamptons

Today I wanted to show you Tiger Wood's 65 million dollar place in the Hamptons. These photos- however- were taken prior to him moving in- and so he very well could have re-decorated. However- they are beautiful nonetheless- and worth checking out!

In the den we see the element of the "unexpected" with the zebra ottoman.

The family room is fabulous. Check out how large the area rugs are! As I have said before- large is luxurious! I also like the combination of patterns in them. Breaking up the large space into two separate sitting areas keeps each sitting area to scale. It doesn't matter how large your room- you shouldn't be in the same conversation area as someone that is fifteen feet away from you.

Beautiful paneled walls, raised ceilings and built-in bookcases are a great pallet to start with in this room. The chandelier is hung so high- probably for parties- so the table can be moved and people can walk underneath...

I saved the best for last- how great is this piano room! I love the ceiling, love the Roman shades, love the rug. I think I would have tried to create more of a conversation area with the furniture.. but maybe there really isn't the width to the room to do that.
So- what do you think? Which house do you like better- this one- or the home in Paradise?

Tiger Woods' House in Florida?

So many people are interested in Tiger Woods these days- I thought I'd show you what aspect of his life I am interested in. His house- of course. I'm less interested in his fidelity or lack of... It's funny- I saw many sources on the Internet- (and received an e-mail) showing this as "Tiger Woods' House". Then on Snopes- I learned that although he does have a beautiful home in Florida- this is not it. (The home at the very top is his- the one where the photo was taken in a helicopter.) Even The Insider had him living here. (Makes me question the validity of The Insider.)This is a vacation home in Maui- I thought it was too pretty for Florida- :) which can be yours for between $6750 and $8250/night. It sleeps 12 and has five marble bathrooms. I thought I'd show you the home anyway- (even though it is not Tiger Woods') because it is so amazing.
I see the indoor planter thing going on- and it makes me wonder if this couldn't be done on a smaller scale in a smaller home? (or will your house look like a docotor's office waiting room?) This shot also lets you see his hardwood in a larger area.

Here the architect is probably using Nana doors- or something similar. The infinity pool blending into the ocean is beautiful.

Built-in furniture can give you the perfect use of space.

OK- so what do you think? And who do you think decided to spread the rumor that this house was Tiger Woods'?
