The Sharpie Basement

As I have admitted before, I am not the best at decorating on a super small budget - however - I came across someone that is - his name is Charlie Kratzer - and he decorated his basement with $10 worth of Sharpies.
Look for fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes, Winston Churchill lounging with George Bernard Shaw — and the TV squirrel Rocky with good old Bullwinkle.
You should also be able to find: The Walrus and the Carpenter (from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass" and "What Alice Found There") and William Shakespeare. The Marx Brothers peer around a corner. A flip-top garbage can is turned into Star Wars' R2D2.

From the wood in the fireplace to the bookcase - everything is a faux "Sharpie world."
Evidently he is not the first to have this idea - check out the work of Justin Ashbee. What do you think? I can't say that I am recommending it as a designer - I simply found it interesting. :)tagged
