Cool New Find: The Twilight Bay Collection

The 80’s are back! Don’t worry- I am not referring to the side ponytail and boom box- but rather to the popularity of French inspired furnishings. Lexington Furniture’s new line Twilight Bay is just fresh and edgy enough to capture the younger crowd, and yet is filled with classic pieces that can be timeless selections for homeowners.

The collection is available in three unique wood finishes: Chestnut, Antique Linen and Driftwood. Chestnut is the perfect medium tone- with enough tonal variation to mix nicely with other woods.

The antique linen is a slightly distressed cream painted finish, and the driftwood is the very current gray stain that is so very current and popular. The three finishes work together beautifully – and are meant to be mixed and combined in the same room, and even within the same dining or bedroom set.

The textural variation of the collection is also anything but flat. Some of the finishes include burnished stainless steel- that you will find, among other places- on the table top of the Shelter Island Bistro Table- and structurally in the Dalton barstool.

The quintessential rush seat is a beautiful French inspired addition that you can find on dining chair and barstools. These textures- together with the wood finishes and fabrics make for a fantastic combination.

The upholstery line is charming with its French Laundry styling.

The tailored slipcovers are paired with classic French chairs adorned with nail head trim. The juxtaposition of formal and casual combined with the tonal neutrals -add to the versatility of this collection.

Cool New Find

What do you think of these great wood pieces- such beautiful grain- very versatile. All from Viva Terra- they bring the outdoors in...

Do you have a favorite? Or one that you don't like? The puzzle pieces are so unique- and the little stump is really cool.

There are so many uses for these two - by a chair in the bedroom- as a plant stand in the den- multiples for a coffee table- or a small end table.

What do you think? Make it- or break it?

Cool New Source

Today I wanted to introduce you to Jayson Home and Garden. They are located in Chicago's Lincoln Park- but are set up to sell to you from their web site- for those of you in rural America.

I have to say that I loved ALL of their sofa styles. How often can you say that? And they have a "flea market" section also- with vintage and antiques- like the antique garden table above. I admit- that I sometimes daydream about having my own store- and it always has some antiques mixed in...

You can find great accessories too...

And check out this beautiful antiqued rug. I adore the aged look in rugs... What do you think?

Cool New Find Photo Gallery

I really loved the look of these frame sets.

Each set, when hung, is 3 x 5. The photo at the top of the post has four sets. Each set includes ten frames.

The mixing and matching of purchasing different styles, as seen in the top picture, adds a great element to the look. Each set is $350.

So many people struggle with developing a photo wall - and this company spells it all out for you.

It is from this cool source called "Supermarket." Strange name, huh?
They had a number of different frame styles to choose from. Something for everybody.

I did not find their web site easy to navigate - but the awkwardness of it made me come across some cool items like these frames - so - maybe they do know what they are doing... or I don't...

I especially liked this shot with two sets of the frames together - all of those large walls out there that people don't know what to do with.
What do you think?
